What is the CleanAIR project?

Project title: "CleanAIR" – Cooperation for reducing the air and water pollution in urban and rural areas in Oradea and Békéscsaba

The CleanAIR project is being implemented within the framework of the Interreg VI-A Romania–Hungary Programme, which, with the support of the European Union, promotes cross-border cooperation in the fields of environmental protection, social, and economic development.

The main goal of the project is to reduce air pollution in the cities of Oradea and Békéscsaba, to make the participating cities more liveable, and to increase the resilience of the urban environment to the challenges of climate change.

At the end of the project, the trees will take root around schools, kindergartens, and playgrounds—where they are most needed.

You can help too!
